About Me

My name is Anastasia, though most people call me Asya. I am a New York City studio photographer creating refined portraits that explore light, form, and presence.

I have been a photographer for 15 years. My approach combines careful preparation, sculpted light, and clear guidance throughout the entire process.

You do not need to have a complete concept, know how to pose, or have your wardrobe planned before reaching out. I will help you:

• develop a concept and visual direction

• plan your wardrobe and prepare for the photoshoot

• find poses, angles, and lighting that complement you

• feel more at ease in front of the camera

During the session, I guide you through movement, hand placement, and facial expressions, so you are never left wondering where to look or what to do next. My goal is to create a comfortable, thoughtfully planned experience and a cohesive series of portraits that feels expressive, personal, and true to you.

My work has been featured in ENZOMNIA, FLANELLE, PUMP, Selin, HOLLYWAY, STYLE CRUZE, and Edith. In 2026, my series “Elegant Absurdity” received an Honorable Mention in the Professional Advertising/Fashion category at the International Photography Awards.

Sessions take place in my fully equipped private studio space in Midtown Manhattan.
